The Casale Ciaffardini farm cultivates 5 varieties of cultivars: Moraiolo, Leccino, Frantoio, Rosciola, Leccio del Corno, from which it obtains the Casale Ciaffardini dop Colli Orvietani olive oil. The olive oil is produced according to the corresponding quantities provided for by the DOP Orvieto hills specification: moraiolo not exceeding 15%, mill not exceeding 30%, leccino not exceeding 60%, 20% other cultivars of the territory in our case the Rosciola cultivar. This is an intense olive oil, you can perceive hints of field greens, cut grass, tomato leaf, persistent but balanced taste as bitter and spicy with hints of chicory and artichoke.
Its characteristic perception of taste makes it elegant and harmonious, ideal on grilled vegetables, green salad, semi-aged cheeses, white meats, grilled meat and perfect on a slice of freshly baked hot bread.
It is available in 3 different sizes: 5lt tin, 0.50lt bottle, and 0.25lt table bottle.
